Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler is a reviewer who takes on Z-grade movies usually within the horror or martial arts genre, which is roughly comparable that of The Cinema Snob but tending toward action films that are dumb and boring, as well as some morbid pleasure from them. She began reviewing movies at the end of 2009 when she became well-known in their forum. (Under her old username Obscurus Lupa) Then she was asked to be a part of on the Channel Awesome team. She was on the website until mid-2015 when the channel Obscurus Lupa Presents was transformed into Movie Nights. She co-hosts two podcasts that are about the Charmed series. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. In addition, she appeared as a character in Brad Jones' movie Jesus Bro! She's appeared in Brad Jones' series Midnight Screenings, usually reviewing horrible children's movies or RiffTrax Live Shows, as well in occasional adult comedies (such as Baywatch 2017, 2017). Then, in the latter half of 2009, she started to write reviews of films and gained popularity in forums like the Channel Awesome forums. She then became a part of the network's family of movie critics. Her appearances have included a variety throughout Channel Awesome, from Atop the Fourth Wall all the way to Phelous & the Movies. She was featured on numerous episodes of Nostalgia Critic and was a past member of the Channel Awesome family together with Doug Walker.
